Public consultation on business rules and exceptional events of draft Interconnection Agreement at the Interconnection Point of Nea Mesimvria

Τεύχος σε Δημόσια Διαβούλευση – An Interconnection Agreement at the Interconnection Point of Nea Mesimvria is to be concluded between DESFA S.A. and Trans Adriatic Pipeline AG (TAP) for the purposes of: a) securing safe, reliable and effective operation of the interconnected transmission systems; b) promoting the development of a competitive and liquid Natural Gas market in IP Nea Mesimvria, including reverse flow from the DESFA System to the TAP System; c) determining the conditions for coordinated operation of the interconnected gas transmission systems; d) establishing data/information exchange and guaranteeing their bilateral collaboration. The business rules and provisions dealing with the exceptional events, related to the Natural Gas transmission through the IP are included in this Interconnection Agreement. DESFA S.A. presents for public consultation the above business rules, namely the confirmation/matching and the allocation procedures of the quantities at IP, as well as the provisions dealing with exceptional events. This consultation is intended to collect views from all parties interested in transmitting natural gas through IP Nea Mesimvria in both directions. DESFA S.A. invites all interested parties to provide comments on the above procedures between 30 September 2019 16:00 CET until 29 November 2019 23:59 CET. Please follow the guidelines as specifically described in the text “IA Public Consultation Guidelines” and use the Comments Template for submitting your comments. The filled in Comments Template should be submitted in English language to the following e-mail: commercial.dispatching@desfa.gr with the subject title “IA at the IP of Nea Mesimvria consultation process / COMMENTS”. TAP may invite Network Users to submit comments on the Consultation Process for the IA at the IP of Nea Mesimvria simultaneously with DESFA.
