DESFA has established, beyond the introductory training, annual training programs for all personnel. The core subjects are: First aid, Emergency Plan, Fire safety & Fire protection in ATEX zones. The aforementioned subjects are enriched with topics, such as main risks when performing tasks, isolation of facilities, LOTO, etc.
Training involves all staff employed at the DESFA’s premises.
Throughout works carried out by DESFA, from the planning stage up to delivery for use, procedures are in place to safeguard the occupational Health and Safety and to conduct regular and special inspections. The aim is to fully satisfy the high standards that have been set.
The company has developed public updates and actions of local residents with an emphasis on Health and Safety issues. In the context of continuing improvement, DESFA has developed synergies with Agencies, Organizations and Institutions and is in constant communication with all competent authorities.
