TRANSMISSION SYSTEM OPERATORS OF BULGARIA AND GREECE PUBLISH THEIR JOINT DEMAND ASSESSMENT REPORT (DAR) OF INCREMENTAL CAPACITY BETWEEN BULGARIA AND GREECE
In accordance with the requirements of the Regulation (EU) 2017/459, establishing a network code on capacity allocation mechanisms in gas transmission systems, Bulgartransgaz and DESFA prepared their joint Demand Assessment Report (DAR) of incremental capacity on the border of the neighbouring entry-exit gas transmission systems between Bulgaria and Greece.

Pursuant to Chapter V of the Regulation each odd-numbered year as of the entering into force of the Regulation, TSOs shall initiate their process of assessing the demand for incremental capacity (incremental process). The process consists of several phases starting with demand assessment for incremental capacity and ending with projects implementation in case the economic test is successful. The demand assessment for incremental capacity consists of two stages – network users submit their non-binding demand indications (within 8 weeks) and TSOs prepare joint DARs (also within 8 weeks).
