On July 1, 2019 DESFA launched the 2019 Market Test in the form of an Incremental Capacity Process in accordance with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2017/459.
The Market Test is structured in two parts:
- the Non-Binding Phase, which started on July 1, 2019 and lasting until the opening of the Binding Phase and,
- the Binding Phase initiated by the publication of the Joint Notice of May 17, 2021 and the respective notices of each of the TSOs concerned (TSO Specific Binding Phase Notices).
During the Non-Binding Phase, interested parties submitted non-binding requests to the three TSOs involved in the 2019 Market Test, i.e. the Hellenic Gas Transmission System Operator (DESFA), Snam Rete Gas (SRG) and Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “TSOs”). The non-binding capacity and connection requests that were received have been published in an aggregated manner jointly by the TSOs in their Demand Assessment Report (DAR).
The Binding Phase commences with the publication of this Joint Notice of the TSOs and the respective TSO Specific Binding Phase Notices on the websites of the TSOs, and of the Project Proposal (as approved by the National Regulatory Authorities concerned).
