Participation of DESFA to the Business Integrity Forum, is now official, following the signing of an MoU with Transparency International Greece, which took place at DESFA Headquarters, on May 19th, 2022.
The Business Integrity Forum is a global initiative driven by Transparency International and refers to a network of leading companies and stakeholders, which openly declare their commitment to operate with transparency, adopting policies and practices of ethical governance.
After the signing, DESFA’s CEO, Ms. Maria Rita Galli, stated: “We are very happy to get onboard the Business Integrity Forum of the Greek branch of Transparency International and to be a part of the joint effort to promote business ethics and a more sustainable governance model. Our collaboration with Transparency International – Greece marks an important step in our path to face future challenges, strengthening our commitment to fight corruption and to operate in a transparent manner.”
On his part, the Chairman of Transparency International Greece, Mr. Panayiotis Mantalozis, said: “It is with great pleasure and honour that we welcome the Hellenic Gas Transmission System Operator to the Business Integrity Forum of Transparency International Greece. Today we seal the beginning of a long term collaboration, being certain that DESFA will be a strategic partner in our struggle to fight corruption and to adopt practices and tools that will contribute to greater transparency in the corporate world as well as in our society.”
