DESFA has been appointed as the certification authority for the polyethylene (PE) welders for all polyethylene NG distribution networks projects with a maximum pressure of 4 bar, that are constructed in our country.
DESFA's many years of experience in the construction of high, medium and low pressure NG projects, its organization, and operating principles, ensure a high-level certification process and contribute to the quality improvement of projects.
This certification includes:
- Theoretical examination
- Mockup construction
- Pneumatic and destructive tests of the mockup
- Filing of the mockup construction weld logs, the tests on welded polyethylene pipes and fittings, and the PE-metal connections
