δ+ Innovation Center is DESFA’s new initiative to support innovative projects in the energy sector.
Our Innovation Center is a new initiative by the Operator aimed at serving as the focal point for the organization’s engagement with startups, research centers, and universities. Its operation facilitates the swift identification of new technological advancements and their seamless integration into the organization’s processes. Through this initiative, DESFA aims to enhance its infrastructure and overall expertise, fostering a culture of innovation within the organization and gaining access to external human talent.
δ+ Innovation Center promotes Calls for Ideas through our Innovation Platform (https://desfainnovationcenter.desfa.gr/home) following specific topics according to Desfa strategic objectives. In the Calls, all registered entities can participate who fulfill the eligibility criteria.
Following the call closure, Desfa through an Accelerator process will nominate collaborators to work together for a specific period. The evaluation considers various factors, including the team’s presentation, the potential benefits of the business idea, its alignment with DESFA’s specific needs, and the technologies proposed for its implementation.
As a next step, DESFA proceeds with a tailor-made Proof of Concept (PoC) in close collaboration with the nominated entities. For any queries: desfaplus@desfa.gr
