DESFA, within the framework of its Corporate Social Responsibility Program and its excellent, long- lasting cooperation with the Central Port Authority of Elefsina, donated a set of 300HP outboard motors (DF300AP) for the needs of the Naval Vessel 335 of the Elefsina Central Port Authority.
Acknowledging the importance of the Elefsina Port Authority’s operational ability in the wider area, DESFA covered the cost for the supply, installation, fitting of the engines, including also the supply of additional components, materials and consumables that are necessary for the engines’ placement. Thanks to this donation, Naval Vessel 335 is again fully operational and ready to continue the uninterrupted surveillance of its area of responsibility.
Following the donation, the Captain HCG, Mr. Fragiskos Xipnitos, Harbor Master of Elefsina, awarded Mr. Nicola Battilana, CEO of DESFA, an honorary plaque during a special event that took place on Wednesday, June 24th, 2020 at the Central Port Authority of Elefsina in the presence of DESFA’s executives and the Port Authority’s personnel.
