The National Natural Gas System Operator (DESFA) S.A. and the Hellenic Institute for Occupational Health and Safety (ELINYAE) signed on Monday, October 31, 2022, a memorandum to strengthen cooperation between the two organizations in matters of health and safety at work.
The Memorandum of Cooperation was signed by the Chief Executive Officer of DESFA, Maria Rita Galli and the President of ELINYAE, Rena Bardani during a special ceremony held at the Head Offices of DESFA.
The two organizations agreed to strengthen their already successful cooperation on a number of issues of mutual interest for health and safety at work, which include the training of employees, the development of information actions, awareness and the development of a culture of prevention both at the level of employees and the general public, the support and participation of DESFA in conferences on Health and Safety at Work organized by ELINYAE, as well as the promotion of research on health and safety at work in the energy sector.
