Certification Services

DESFA’s extended experience in the construction of high, medium and low pressure Natural Gas projects, as well as its organization and operating principles, ensure a high-level certification process and contribute to the quality improvement of projects.

This certification includes:

• Theoretical examination
• Mockup construction
• Pneumatic and destructive tests of the mockup
• Filing of the mockup construction weld logs, the tests on welded polyethylene pipes and fittings, and the PE-metal connections

Certification services include:

• Certification of measuring equipment
• Welder’s Certification: Provision of certification services, acting as certification body for polyethylene (PE) welders for all polyethylene NG distribution networks projects with a maximum pressure of 4 bar. The certification process includes:
  – Theoretical examination
  – Mock up construction
  – Pneumatic and destructive testing of the mock up
  – Filing of the mockup construction weld logs, the tests on welded polyethylene pipes and fittings, and the PE-metal connections
