Afforestation Initiative 2010

DESFA, in an attempt to stay true to its Corporate Social Responsibility Program and towards the Environment, organized on Sunday, 13 June 2010 an afforestation project, under the motto "Plant a Tree and Give a Breath of Life to Earth", in the organization's premises in Patima, Eleusina, with the participation of the company's employees and their families.

Gazprom and DESFA establish a joint venture

Today in Moscow, at a meeting of the Joint Russian-Greek Commission on economic, industrial and scientific-technical cooperation, OAO Gazprom and the company DESFA S.A. (Hellenic Gas Transmission System Operator S.A.) signed a charter of the Joint Venture Company (JVC) South Stream Greece S.A., established on parity basis by Gazprom and DESFA for the implementation of the Greek section of the South Stream project.

Announcement for Limited Transmission Capacity Days at Entry Point KIPI

Taking into consideration the provisions of the National Natural Gas System (NNGS), Administration Code and, in particular, Article 64, regarding Limited Transmission Capacity Days, DESFA SA announces that the available transmission capacity at entry point "KIPI" for the period 31.05.2010 - 13.06.2010 will be 0,000 MWh/Day, due to the execution of maintenance works in branch Komotini - Alexandroupolis (replacement of valves at Komotini Scrapper Station), according to the NNGS annual maintenance plan.
